Workshop: Physics with Industry

PhD students, post docs, and senior researchers are invited for the upcoming workshop:

Physics with Industry

which will be held from 11-15 October 2010 in the Lorentz Center in Leiden (NL).

"A group of about fifty physicists (junior and senior scientists from the Netherlands and abroad) come together to tackle industrial problems from ASML, Teijin, FrieslandCampina, NXP and NIZO. After a thorough presentation of the problems by the companies on Monday, the physicists will work on one of the five problems and devote the entire week at dissecting, modelling, analysing and discussing this problem within their group and with the industrial representatives. By Friday the groups present their solution to the companies."
