Omschrijving van het onderzoek
Project objectives: Gain insight into the influence of oxidation states of metal oxide contaminants on the behaviour of FCC catalysts, both in the FCC cracking reactor and in the catalyst regeneration reactor. The research program will focus particularly on the influence of the transition metals V and Ni which during use are deposited from the oil onto the catalyst surface.
